Lead SAP MM Consultant

Infosys is seeking a Lead SAP MM Consultant This position is a key player in the consulting team that helps discover and define the problem statement, evaluates the solution options and makes recommendations. You will create detailed design, architecture and process artifacts and implement the deployment plan. You will also support knowledge transfer with the objective of providing value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape. Basic Qualification : • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education • At least 7 years of experience with Information Technology. • Location for this position is Jacksonville, FL. • Candidates authorized to work for any employer in the United States without employer-based visa sponsorship are welcome to apply. Preferred Qualification: SAP S/4HANA MM/IM/WM Consultant, at least 7 years of experience with SAP Implementation functional designs, configures, and implements solutions for Materials Management (MM), Inventory Management (IM), and Warehouse Management (WM), focusing on procurement, stock movement, and storage processes, integrating them into the S/4HANA environment, gathering requirements, performing testing, training users, and providing support, ensuring seamless logistics flow from purchase to dispatch. Key Responsibilities: • Consulting & Analysis: Gather client requirements, analyze business processes, and translate needs into functional specifications for SAP MM/IM/WM. • Configuration & Design: Configure SAP S/4HANA modules (MM for purchasing/vendor, IM for stock, WM for warehouse operations), designing solutions, master data, and integrations, familiar with Inventory and Mobile apps, solution design to meet customized Fiori Apps. • Implementation & Testing: Support full lifecycle projects, including data migration, integration testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and cutover activities. • Integration: Ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules (FI/CO, SD and external systems. • Support & Training: Provide ongoing end-user support, troubleshoot complex issues, and deliver training and documentation. • Best Practices: Advise clients on SAP S/4HANA best practices, continuous improvement, and adopting new features like embedded EWM. Key Skills : • Strong functional knowledge of SAP MM (Procurement, Inventory), IM (Stock Mgmt), and WM/EWM (Warehouse Ops). • Experience with SAP S/4HANA, including migration projects and Activate methodology. • Hands-on configuration and customization skills. • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. • Experience in full lifecycle implementations and cross-functional team collaboration. • S/4 Business partner, Product master, procurement process and Inventory management. • Physical Inventory, cycle count, build workflow and clear differences for IM and WM managed inventory. The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.
