We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front End Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing web applications using Angular 14 or later, JavaScript, and Content Management Systems (CMS), specifically Bloomreach. You will be responsible for developing user interfaces, ensuring cross-browser compatibility, and collaborating with backend developers to integrate APIs and other services. This position is available for both on-site in McLean, VA, or remote work.
Key Responsibilities:
Front-End Development:
Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using Angular 14 or later and JavaScript.
Implement responsive designs and ensure the compatibility of web applications across various browsers and devices.
Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
Content Management:
Integrate and manage CMS platforms, particularly Bloomreach, ensuring seamless content updates and management.
Collaborate with content teams to develop and implement content management workflows.
Testing and Quality Assurance:
Develop and execute unit tests and end-to-end tests to ensure application reliability and performance.
Use testing frameworks and tools to automate testing processes and improve efficiency.
Version Control and Collaboration:
Utilize GitHub for version control, code reviews, and collaborative development.
Work closely with other developers, designers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality products.
Continuous Improvement:
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the application of best practices in web development.
Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback to enhance code quality.
Qualifications:
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Angular 14 or later, with a strong understanding of its core principles and concepts.
Extensive experience with JavaScript and its frameworks/libraries.
Experience with Bloomreach CMS or similar content management systems.
Solid understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design.
Familiarity with GitHub and version control best practices.
Understanding of end-to-end testing and unit testing methodologies.
Professional Experience:
Previous experience working with financial institutions, such as Capital One, is highly desirable.
Proven track record of developing and delivering high-quality web applications.
Soft Skills:
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
