Job Duties and Responsibilities of Freight Delivery Driver:
• Handle the operation of commercial vehicles to transfer goods and materials to prescribed destinations.
• Manage the loading and unloading of cargo to ensure items are properly and securely positioned.
• Observe all traffic laws, regulations, and safety protocols specified by the organization.
• Ensure that delivery logs and records are both accurate and punctual.
• Cultivate open lines of communication with dispatchers and team members for seamless interactions.
Qualifications and Experience of Freight Delivery Driver:
• An unexpired CDL A or B license and a clear driving background are essential.
• Entry-level positions do not necessarily require prior experience as a commercial driver, although it is preferred.
