They are seeking a District Sales Manager to manage dealer activities in Texas, achieve sales objectives, and develop dealer relationships to support the company's growth objectives.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute a business plan to achieve short and long-term territory growth objectivesRecruit new dealers/customers and improve and strengthen relationships and volume with current dealers/customersAct as liaison between company and customerHandle customer problems and complaintsEffectively and efficiently educate, train and promote the company’s products, programs and specials to dealersDemonstrate products at customer locations, job sites, trade shows, and as requested or neededParticipate in farm shows, dealer open houses, and other events to support, promote, and represent the Agriculture & Turf businessMaintain Customer Relationship Management tool with accurate up-to-date dealer information, appointments, contact information, call reports, weekly reports and any other necessary informationSkillsBachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing or a related field, or equivalent work-related experience3-5 years proven successful sales history, experience with a full selling process requiredExperience selling in a Business to Business; Manufacturer to Dealer relationship preferredExperience in the Agriculture industry a plusEffective written and verbal communication skills; able to express oneself clearly and in technical and non-technical termsSets a good example of personal integrity and professionalismProficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)Able to operate remotely from a home office setting; residence within the territory is requiredAvailable to travel as required – 75%; eligible for domestic and international travel up to two weeks in durationExperience selling in a Business to Business; Manufacturer to Dealer relationship preferredExperience in the Agriculture industry a plusBenefitsMedical, Dental, and Vision Benefits available on day one (no waiting period)401k matching (100% of first 3%, 50% of next 3% = 4.5% match on 6% contribution)Retirement Savings Plus Plan*Earn up to 120 hours vacation during your first year of servicePaid holidays and one paid Community Involvement Day available per calendar yearTuition reimbursement programGlobal company with small company feelCasual work attireCompany OverviewOregon Tool is a cutting-tool powerhouse platform that specializes in forestry, garden, farming, agriculture, and concrete cutting tools.
