Freelance, Associate (Temp)

Freelance, Associate Golin Chicago is hiring a temporary Associate. In this role, you will have the opportunity to support social media and influencer work, media relations, special events and client management. We are looking for a Temporary Associate who can join us in a Freelance capacity and can commit to up to 40 hours per week. This role will include additional limited shifts over the Thanksgiving weekend and during the month of December 2025. What you'll do: • Support day-to-day team needs for one of the most sought-after teams in the agency during the busiest time of the year • Contribute to The Bridge, Golin's real-time and relevance engine that offers trend analysis, media and consumer insights, and creative inspiration • Assist with social opportunity sourcing, community management and content development • Assess and vet influencers and creators for brand safety risks • Written and oral fluency in Spanish or Portuguese is preferred Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in journalism, Public Relations, Communications, English, business or related field, or equivalent experience • Strong writing and verbal communication skills • A collaborative style and ability to quickly scan and search for content across the web • A self-starter, proactive and highly motivated team player • Demonstrate the ability to be detail oriented with a proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite You'll receive an amazing experience and the opportunity to learn from the best in the business! Golin has included the base salary range or hourly rate for this role. Actual compensation offered within the range will depend upon, among other factors: a candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience; actual ranges for current or former employees in the role; and market considerations.
