Job title: Freelance 2D Rigging Animator/Compositor-YouTube Studio Company: Newscape Studios Job description: Job Summary NewScape Studios, has over 18 YouTube channels, with over 10 million total subscribers. We create content based on popular video games such as Fortnite, Minecraft, and original animations. NewScape also produces a vast array of videos for a young audience and create content through animation and machinima. We are looking to add Freelance 2D Rigging/Compositors to our creative and talented team. The ideal candidate will have substantial knowledge in rigging characters in After Effects. Applicants that have experience in other Adobe suite software (Photoshop, Character Animator, and Premier Pro) are preferred. • This role is for Freelance artist who are remote. Animation and gaming channels to match style of: This role is ideal for Animators who want to work in character design, rigging and animated storytelling. Responsibilities and Duties • Primarily rig characters and animate sequences. • Draw visual assets that adhere to a preexisting style. • Work with animators to create layered compositions that are easily translated to movements in After Effects. • Assist in parallax animations • Keep an organized and efficient workflow inside Character Animator • Occasionally aid in voice over for extra characters Qualifications and Skills • Substantial knowledge in rigging 2D characters is a must • 2 years Required experience in After Effects • Proficient in Adobe Creative • Proficient in Adobe Photoshop • Proficient in Procreate • Proficient Character Animator • Must be able to adapt to a variety of workflows and maintain established style formats per channel. • Must be able to work as part of a team • Communicate effectively • Great listening skills • Great time management skills • Comfortable in meeting deadlines • Strong attention to detail and consistency • Strong connection to nerd culture Benefits and Perks • Competitive pay: $20.00 This is a remote/ work from home, Independent Contractor Position.
