Foundry Helper - 1st Shift
Milwaukee Precision Casting is now hiring a full time direct hire candidate for the Foundry/Melt department, Foundry Helper, 1st Shift.

Starting pay of $17.50 per hour.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assists Melter in preparation of molds ready for pouring for each procedure.
• Assists Melter in all procedures to complete pouring process.
• Follows instructions given from Melter, Foundry Supervisor, or Plant Foreman.
• Obeys safety rules all safety rules and always wears PPE.
• Reads every Production/Process Sheet for instructions/accuracy/lot integrity.
• Moves molds from shelves in order given by pour schedule. Check every mold for cracks/damage.
• Ensures damaged molds are not loaded into oven.
• Preps sand beds.
• Helps run metals back and forth to warehouse and updates weights.
• Ensures that Melters on the deck are able to continue melting.
• Other duties as designated by Foundry Supervisor or Plant Foreman.
• Must be able to lift 80 plus lbs and work under extreme heat.
