Founding Sales Development Representative
Nirvana Insurance is modernizing the insurance claims market with AI-native solutions. They are seeking a Founding Sales Development Representative to drive pipeline, build outbound strategies, and work closely with leadership to expand their customer base. Responsibilities Drive Pipeline for Enterprise AI: Target and engage carriers and MGAs for high-value AI-native insurance solutions Own the Outbound Engine: You aren't just following a script; you are building the playbook. You’ll own cold calls, email automation, LinkedIn, and conferences Work with Leadership: Collaborate directly with our GM and sales leaders to refine sales messaging and strategy Build Target Lists: Aggressively identify and expand our ICP (Ideal Customer Profile) across the commercial insurance landscape Run Discovery: Qualify high-value opportunities and convert initial conversations into real ARR Move at Start-up Speed: As a founding SDR hire, you will help build the outbound infrastructure behind our global growth and set yourself up for a career defining opportunity Skills 1-2+ years in SDR, business development, or performance-driven GTM roles Proven track record of generating outbound pipelines (experience in InsurTech or FinTech is a plus) High agency and a 'do-whatever-it-takes' attitude Willingness to travel for industry events Ability to work in a high-intensity, hybrid environment in our New York City office Benefits 100% employer paid healthcare plans Up to 4% 401k match program Paid time off Parental leave Wellness reimbursement Work-from-home stipend Company Overview Nirvana Insurance offers A-rated commercial trucking insurance using telematics to enhance safety and reduce costs.
