Forklift Driver
DLP Staffing is currently accepting applications for the position of:
POSITION TITLE: Forklift Operator.
Location: Eagle Pass, TX.
FLSA: Non-Exempt.
Hire Pay: $10.50 to $11.00 an hour.
Classification: Full-time.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Forklift Operator will use a forklift to transport different materials around the warehouse and to load and unload materials from a loading dock.
JOB SUMMARY:
Must have excellent communication skills.
Must be able to load and unload materials manually, off or on pallets, platforms, skids, or lifting devices.
Perform pre- and post-inspections to ensure working forklift equipment.
Plans and coordinates with upper management regarding loading and unloading operations.
Keep updated records of inventory.
Comply with company guidelines and safety policies.
Other duties as assigned such as carrying 50 lbs. bags on catwalks and platforms.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to follow instructions.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISED:
Receives supervision from Supervisor.
Must complete jobs without constant supervision.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
This position's principal duties are in an indoor/outdoor environment.
ALCOHOL AND DRUG TESTING POLICY:
This position is subject to pre-employment drug testing. DLP Staffing has a Drug Free Workplace Policy that includes Post-Accident Testing, Random Testing, and/or Reasonable Suspicion Testing.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Must pass a background check.
Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
Must be available 7 days a week.
