Flex Pool Hospice CNA – Weekdays (Mon–Fri)

Looking for a CNA position with a consistent weekday schedule—but more variety in your day-to-day work? Our Flex Pool CNA role is designed to support patients across multiple service areas, stepping in where care is needed most. Rather than being assigned to one set schedule or territory, you’ll provide coverage for open visits and PRN patient needs throughout the region. This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys variety, is adaptable, and takes pride in being someone the team can rely on. You’ll work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, providing hands-on patient care in one or more of our service areas (Dobson NC, Elkin NC, Galax, VA, depending on daily coverage needs. Your day may include covering scheduled visits for team members who are out, responding to additional patient needs as they arise, and supporting patients with personal care and comfort measures. You will be caring for patients with serious and terminal illness, including those who may be actively declining. At times, this role includes being present with patients and families at the end of life and providing support immediately following death. You’ll work closely with the clinical team to ensure continuity of care across the region. Every day is a little different—but your role is essential in making sure patients receive the care they need, when they need it. Requirements
• Active CNA certification (NC)
• Comfort traveling within the service area during the workday
• Strong communication skills and a team-focused mindset
• Reliable, adaptable, and able to adjust to changing daily needs
Nice-to-haves
• Experience in hospice, home health, or long-term care preferred
