Fleet Disptacher
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Trucking Dispatcher to coordinate and oversee the movement of containerized freight. The ideal candidate will have experience in dispatch operations, knowledge of port and rail systems, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: • Plan, schedule, and dispatch drivers for container pickup and delivery • Monitor and track shipments to ensure on-time performance • Maintain clear communication with drivers, customers, and port/rail terminals • Resolve service issues promptly and professionally • Maintain accurate records of shipments and activities • Collaborate with operations, safety, and customer service teams Qualifications: • Previous experience dispatching container trucks or drayage operations (preferred) • Knowledge of port and rail yard procedures • Strong communication and problem-solving skills • Ability to multitask and prioritize under pressure • Proficiency with dispatch software and Microsoft Office Suite • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus Benefits: • 50% of benefits employer contribution • 10 days of vacation • 6 days holidays • 3 days sick leave • Opportunities for professional development and growth Original job Fleet Disptacher posted on GrabJobs ©.
