The role involves identifying client opportunities, conducting research, and preparing proposals to support business development efforts. Responsibilities Identifying client opportunities Conducting research Preparing proposals that align with our expertise Coordinating closely with key stakeholders to ensure the effective development and submission of proposals Managing multiple tasks Prioritizing effectively Delivering high-quality results within tight deadlines Contributing to process improvements Taking initiatives to enhance the overall efficiency of proposal preparation and submission tasks Skills You self-identify as Indigenous (First Nations, Inuit, Métis) in Canada Experience working with First Nations, Inuit and Métis Peoples (and communities and expertise in issues faced by Indigenous peoples and communities in Canada) Proficiency in an Indigenous language is a valuable asset A post-secondary education in a field related to Administration or Project Coordination At least 1 year of post-graduate work experience demonstrating a track record of achievement and impact Strong organizational and coordination skills Excellent verbal and written communication abilities Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint A self-starter attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team Knowledge of economic development or a related field Experience with SharePoint, Teams, or similar collaborative platforms Experience on bidding sites such as Merx or Biddingo Benefits Paid Indigenous Cultural Days Mental Health Support Wellness Dollars Flexible Ways of Work Indigenous Employee Resource Groups Company Overview Deloitte is a business consulting company that offers audit, consulting, financial advisory, and tax services.
