We’re looking for an experienced fintech compliance consultant to conduct a short, targeted audit of our compliance approach for a new saas product within banking. This is a focused advisory engagement to validate our current understanding and ensure we’re moving in the right direction prior to launch.
The goal is to fact check our compliance strategy against best practice, recent regulation, and your professional experience.
Key Areas for Consultation:
•FCA Licensing:
Guidance on whether product requires a full FCA AIS licence (2–6 month process) or if we can operate as an agent under a third party licence (e.g., TrueLayer, Plaid).
• User Data Protection:
Ensuring our approach aligns with GDPR, UK data protection laws, and best practice handling of user financial data.
Engagement Scope:
• 2 hour high impact consultation
• Review of our current compliance assumptions
• Clear recommendations and next steps
Requirements:
• Expert with UK/EU fintech compliance
• Expert with AIS licensing pathways
• Expert understanding of GDPR in a fintech context
• Ability to provide concise, actionable guidance
