Financial Strategy & Analytics Lead (Remote)

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Financial Strategy & Analytics Analyst. In this role, you will significantly impact how financial data drives decision-making within our partner organization. You will bridge the gap between complex data sets and strategic finance tasks, modernizing the financial reporting process. By developing scalable data models and real-time dashboards, you will enable executive leadership to gain clarity on the company's financial health. Furthermore, your expertise will help uncover macroeconomic trends using vast transaction data, positioning our partner as a thought leader in accounts receivable.
Responsibilities
• Build & Automate Financial Reporting: Take ownership of the data pipelines required for monthly financial reporting.
• Develop Financial Data Models: Create and maintain clean, documented data models within our Snowflake environment.
• Executive & Investor Support: Partner with leadership to support ad-hoc analysis for Board decks and investor inquiries.
• Econometric Analysis: Execute advanced research projects analyzing annual transaction volume.
• Drive Data Adoption: Act as a subject matter expert for the Finance team, transitioning them from static spreadsheets to dynamic data tools.
Requirements
• 5+ years of experience in a data analytics role with a focus on Finance, FP&A, or Business Operations.
• Advanced SQL Proficiency: Ability to write complex queries and understand data lineage.
• Strong experience building executive-level dashboards in Tableau or similar tools.
• Solid grasp of SaaS metrics (ARR, Churn, Retention) and financial statements.
• Experience with regression analysis, forecasting, or econometric modeling.
