Financial Services Consultant - Client Relationship Team

As a Financial Services Consultant on the Client Relationship Team, you will support clients with their wealth management needs, provide comprehensive portfolio reviews, and assist with retirement planning while strengthening client relationships and achieving service and sales targets. Responsibilities Proactively call existing Sun Life clients that have a Group Retirement Savings (GRS) plan & Group Insurance Benefit (GB) plan to establish a relationship where the objective is to educate members on their investments, benefits, and assist with product enrolment Consult with clients by providing investment and protection advice related to their financial needs, including savings, retirement income and insurance Partner with clients to be ‘retirement ready’, through the use of financial planning tools. Ensure all clients maintain an updated plan in order to achieve personal financial goals Review portfolio investments, product options, savings goals, and assist with asset consolidation Create an investment risk assessment profile for clients. This will support them in aligning their investments to their desired risk tolerance Contribute to sales and service targets by demonstrating to clients the value of their benefits available to them through their employer plans and assist with payroll deduction set ups, lump sum contributions and asset consolidation Skills Valid and active Life Insurance License (LLQP) or Insurance of person license in Quebec (PQAP) or willingness to obtain LLQP within 60 days A passion for building relationships and creating amazing client experiences Experience with selling and supporting clients with investment, savings products Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) Ability to quickly build rapport and relationships with clients over the phone or video conferencing Strong listening skills and the ability to ask probing questions to understand needs Possess an owner's mindset in order to build strong client experiences and loyalty, while contributing within a fast-paced evolving team Ability to be agile and effectively manage changing priorities or processes Self motivated and have the ability to work independently Canadian Securities Course (CSC)- asset Canadian Investment Fund Course (IFIC)- asset Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation or Financial planner designation (IQPF)- asset Benefits Medical, dental, life, critical illness, and disability insurance Lumino Health Virtual Care Robust defined contribution pension plan Stock Ownership and Savings Programs Tuition assistance Licensing fees covered Career growth and professional development opportunities Dynamic team environment and coaching from Managers Hybrid work environment Company Overview La Financière Sun Life est une organisation de services financiers de premier plan qui aide ses clients à atteindre la sécurité financière à toutes les étapes de leur vie.
