Financial Operations Analyst - Carson, CA
About the position As the Financial Operations Analyst, you will play a key strategic and hands-on role in supporting all financial and accounting activities for the facility. As a critical partner to plant leadership, you will provide financial insights and analysis to help guide operational decisions and promote accountability. This high-visibility position offers the opportunity to make a direct impact on the performance of one of Belden's most recognized brands. The role reports directly to the Sr. Manager, Finance Operations, with a dotted-line relationship to the Plant Manager, and is based on site at our Carson, CA facility. Responsibilities • Coordinating AP invoices for processing. • Managing the daily cycle program. • Preparing and presenting the Weekly Flash Report (forecasting and budgeting) as well as submitting the weekly plant scorecard. • Preparing and processing all necessary month end journal entries. • Handling all accounting and financial activities for the plant, while maintaining a high degree of accuracy in reporting financial information. Requirements • Bachelors degree within accounting field & 2+ years of cost accounting or finance experience. • Strong decision making and problem-solving capabilities. • Strong written and oral communication skills in addition to a high level of integrity. • Ability to work effectively with a wide range of people. • Competitive nature, a drive for success, and a focus on continuous improvement.
