Tasks
The Finance team at Aurora is responsible for building and maintaining the financial engine that powers our entire business — from ad tech and SaaS, to global payment processing and internal wallets.
We’ve built our own internal platform, Vantage, to operate as our internal ERP and automate all financial tracking, reporting, invoicing, reconciliation, and profitability analysis. As part of this team, you’ll play a mission-critical role in operating and refining that system, ensuring it delivers real-time, audit-grade accuracy across multiple global entities.
Your work will directly impact how our revenue is tracked, how our taxes are filed, and how our company understands its margins and financial health.
Your Responsibilities
Own and operate Aurora’s internal finance system (Vantage), ensuring complete accuracy across all financial data
Review, manage, and refine our general ledger, journal entries, chart of accounts, and reconciliation logic
Oversee all inflows (deposits, subscriptions, manual sales, fees, conversion margins) and outflows (expenses, provider payouts, refunds)
Ensure every financial transaction is correctly attributed to the correct client and operating entity
Manage and reconcile transactions across Stripe, Airwallex, and crypto wallets with precision
Ensure all revenue recognition, margin capture (top-up fees, crypto fees, conversion margins), and wallet deductions are properly journaled
Work directly with developers and leadership to flag broken flows, missing edge cases, or reconciliation inconsistencies
Prepare clean, structured P&L and financial reports for internal use and external tax accountants
Maintain financial documentation, SOPs, and reporting processes to a standard ready for audit at any time
Improve and refine financial controls, helping us scale the finance function without scaling overhead
