They are seeking a Commercial Financial Analyst to support the U.S. Commercial Finance organization by creating and maintaining financial reports and analyses to aid decision-making across various business aspects.ResponsibilitiesOwn the execution and refresh of daily, weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc Commercial Finance reportsMaintain standard reporting packages used by Commercial Finance leadership and cross-functional partnersSupport customer, channel, and product-level profitability analysis with review and guidance from the Senior ManagerEnsure data accuracy, consistency, and timeliness across all recurring deliverablesAssist in identifying trends, risks, and opportunities, escalating findings to the Senior Manager for interpretation and actionSupport the Senior Manager in partnering with Sales and Marketing on pricing, promotions, trade spend, and customer incentive programsPrepare analytical support for pricing actions, promotional plans, and trade investment effectiveness reviewsTrack and manage SG&A budgets for U.S. brands, including Weber and BlackstoneSupport monthly close activities related to operating expenses, including variance analysis versus plan and prior yearPartner with functional budget owners to understand spending drivers and improve forecast accuracyPrepare clear, well-structured budget summaries for Senior Manager reviewExecute data pulls and reconciliations from ERP systems, reporting tools, and Excel-based modelsMaintain and improve Excel templates and reporting files used by the Commercial Finance teamSupport process improvements that increase efficiency, repeatability, and data reliabilityLearn and ramp quickly into new systems and data sources as business needs evolvePartner closely with the Senior Manager on customer reviews, profitability assessments, and commercial analysesRespond to ad-hoc analytical requests with speed, accuracy, and sound judgmentDevelop the ability to translate data into clear insights, while relying on Senior Manager guidance for broader business contextAsk thoughtful questions and demonstrate curiosity around the 'why' behind performanceSkillsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, or related field0-2 years of experience in finance, FP&A, commercial finance, or analytical roles (including internships)Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, formulas, and comfort with large datasetsStrong attention to detail and ability to manage recurring deliverables on tight timelinesExperience supporting budgets, forecasts, or management reportingExposure to customer, pricing, margin, or product profitability analysisExperience working with ERP systems or BI/reporting toolsBenefitsMedical, dental, and vision coverageFlexible Spending Accounts (FSA)Life and disability insuranceEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)401(k) with company matchDiscretionary paid time off (vacation, sick, personal)Up to 14 weeks of parental leave (8 weeks for recovery, 6 weeks for bonding)10 paid holidays annuallyCompany OverviewAt Weber, grilling is a passion thatβs reflected in everything we do.
