For employers, we streamline the entire process of supporting international Mobility into one easy-to-use platform, turning Mobility into a strategic advantage for thriving globally.Now you know why we’re so passionate about what we do!The RoleWe’re looking for a versatile Finance Assistant to join our growing team and help deliver smooth, timely, and accurate day-to-day finance operations.You’ll play a key role in supporting payment runs, invoicing, reconciliations, bookkeeping and financial admin across our international business. You’ll work closely with the Finance Manager and support across both internal and client-facing finance processes. This is a great opportunity for an ambitious individual with a keen eye for detail, a love of organisation, and a desire to learn and grow within a fast-paced and global finance team.ResponsibilitiesWhile no two days are the same, your main responsibilities will include:Accounts PayableOwn the weekly and bi-daily payment runs to ensure that our vendors, consultants and relocators are paid accurately and timelyMonitor and process urgent payment requests, collaborating closely with our Operations teamSupport the bookkeeping process as it relates to outgoing payments, focusing on correct coding and indirect tax treatmentsMaintain supplier records and complete relevant monthly payment reconciliations as appropriateEnsure that all accounts payable documentation is organised, structured and “audit ready”Invoicing & Accounts ReceivablePrepare and send client invoices on weekly basis, ensuring that client specific data is accurately included as requiredAssist the Finance Manager with client invoicing reporting and the coordination of finance-related client communicationsProactively apply client remittances in Xero, ensuring that cash is correctly allocated to the correct invoicesPrepare accounts receivable ageing reports, flagging and escalating overdue accountsOther Core ResponsibilitiesPrepare monthly cash reporting dashboard (template based), highlighting key movementsSupport reconciliations of key accounts such as prepaid cards, relocator allowances and other accountsAssist in the research, design and implementation of new processes and technologies across the finance function as we continue to evolve and scaleBe a point of contact for internal teams needing finance support on payments and invoicingTackle clean-up tasks and backlog items, working with the Finance Manager as appropriateRequirementsThe type of person we think will be awesome at this will likely have the following range of qualities and experience:Relevant Experience3-4+ years of relevant finance experience (e.g. finance support, AP/AR processes, bookkeeping role), ideally in fast-paced or scaling environmentsFamiliarity with account software (Xero preferred) and confidence using Excel / Google SheetsSolid understanding of basic accounting principles and general ledger codingHands on experience with high transactional volumes, across multiple currencies and geographiesCore CompetenciesExcellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skillsClear verbal and written communicator – clear, concise and professionalHighly organised and able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environmentAutonomous self starter with a drive to set and deliver against priority driven deadlinesEnthusiasm for learning and improving within a fast paced startup environmentAdditional RequirementsBased in European time zones to enable flexible collaboration across multiple regionsPrior experience in a fast paced tech enabled service-based business is highly beneficialTrustworthy and professional, with sound judgment and respect for sensitive informationPay & BenefitsSalaryTotal compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to demonstrated skill set, years and depth of relevant experience, location and some role-dependent factors.
