Field Service Technician

We are currently seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Field Service Technician to join our team in Lake Charles, LA. As a strategic member of a highly collaborative organization, the field service technician will be responsible for installing equipment and investigating and solving customers’ technical problems. In this role, the technician travel to customer sites and working in the field. Responsibilities and Duties Assemble and test equipment Install new equipment at customer’s facility and ensure full functionality Familiar with equipment’s software Provide on-site technical assistance to help troubleshoot and repair equipment Submit complete service reports for customer invoicing Review performance reports from customers and inspects malfunctioning or damaged equipment to determine the nature and scope of the problem Qualifications and Skills Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals Ability to calculate figures such as discounts, interest, commissions, etc. Ability to solve practical problems Ability to meet the physical demands of this job: stand, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crawl, move up to 50 pounds, etc. Benefits Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision insurance Life insurance Health savings account Flexible savings account Paid Time Off 401K program BBP is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
