Field Service Engineer
Primepick is building a new generation of smart vending machines powered by robotics, automation, and food technology. They are seeking a hands-on Field Service Engineer to support and maintain robotic vending systems in the field, focusing on troubleshooting and ensuring operational reliability of the machines. Responsibilities Perform maintenance and troubleshooting at the base location and across field locations Diagnose and resolve issues across mechanical, electrical, and control systems Repair and reassemble mechanical assemblies, replace faulty components Work directly with robotic and mechatronic systems (actuators, motion systems, sensors) Test key subsystems including cooling, heating, and sensing Support deployment of control software updates and verify system behavior Ensure machines are fully operational after service interventions Monitor system performance and proactively identify issues Maintain service records and update task status Collaborate with engineering to report issues and improve system reliability Skills Experience with PLC-based systems (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or similar) Hands-on experience with electromechanical / mechatronic systems Understanding of control logic and signal flow Strong troubleshooting skills Experience with tools and mechanical assembly Basic electrical knowledge Ability to work independently in the field Experience with robotics or manipulators Experience with servo systems or motion components Experience with refrigeration or food equipment Experience with IoT or connected systems Experience with testing or deployments Company Overview Primepick builds smart infrastructure for hot food distribution.
