Field Development Specialist is a sales professional who is an individual contributor with direct sales responsibilities. The majority of time is spent establishing and maintaining customer relationships, developing new customer relationships, implementing sales strategies and closing sales.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
Promotes the sale of products to new and established accounts to achieve sales objectives and greater market penetration by optimizing and maintaining a steady and qualified channel network.
Assists partners/clients throughout the sales process in all sales-oriented activities, such as marketing, advertising, sales promotions and training, to achieve revenue targets.
Identifies and networks with reliable channels, resulting in deeper market penetration and wider market reach.
Partners with internal stakeholders to set short- and long-term sales channel strategies and evaluates effectiveness of current programs.
Tracks and analyses the activities of competitors, propose ideas to increase the popularity of products in the region.
Provides technical support to physicians as per specific operating unit and therapy requirements.
Works closely with distributors, building relationships and improving performance at the territory, continuously monitors inventory management/levels.
Provides regular and timely reports on daily activities in accounts, market and competitive information about trends.
Monitors adverse events of company products and, if any, inform them in a timely manner in accordance with the procedure.

Required Knowledge and Experience:
Requires a Baccalaureate degree and minimum of 3 years of relevant experience and working knowledge of company products and services
Experience in cardiac surgery would be advantageous
Experience in medical devices, pharmaceutical or biomedical technologies is required
Fluency in English both written and spoken (Company trainings are to be completed in English)
Communication skills
Capacity to multi-task
Commercially driven mindset is advantageous to succeed in this position
Knowledge of any CRM programs is advantageous
