Who We Are Looking For
We are on a quest for students who are not shy to be themselves and bring their full creativity to help us reach and engage with potential users. If you are a student who wants to add some practical job skills to your resume (without the soul-crushing corporate vibe) while making a positive impact, we want to hear from you.
We're looking for three (3) creative, enthusiastic, hardworking individuals to join our team as Fall Marketing & Sales Interns. The role involves a blend of both marketing and sales activities.
What You'll Be Doing - the Fun Stuff
• Social media marketing: You'll help us create content for our social media channels, from strategizing the content calendar to hands-on content creation. This could include making short-form videos for TikTok/Reels, designing graphics for Instagram, or writing copy for LinkedIn.
• Sales outreach: You will reach out to prospective customers in a way that is respectful and encourages a response, even if they aren't ready to buy. We will be counting on your creativity to make sure every outreach leaves the person on the other end feeling good.
• General marketing activities: We take a multi-channel approach to marketing and you will be expected to contribute your creativity, ideas and skills while learning best practices along the way. This could include helping with email newsletter campaigns, blog post ideation, or attending career events at your university to share our materials.
What We're Looking For - Who You Are
• A Student: You should be currently enrolled at a college or university. We will also consider recent graduates (within the past 3 months) who bring compelling skills and perspectives.
• A Go-Getter: You're not afraid to jump in, ask questions, and take initiative. You are more of a doer than an observer.
• A Collaborator: You enjoy working with others and bring a positive attitude (even on a Monday morning).
• A Creative Thinker: You've got ideas brewing and aren't afraid to share them.
• A Sense of Humor: We're a playful group, so you'll feel right at home. We want someone who sees the funny side of things and can bring levity to the content we create.
The Nitty-Gritty - Some Important Details
• Duration: 6-8 weeks (flexible based on your availability - we get it, college is wild).
• Location: Fully Remote (US-based only). Work from your dorm, your couch, or even a very fancy coffee shop - just make sure you have reliable internet and aren't that person we all fear sitting close to at the coffee shop.
• Hours: Approximately 10 hours per week. We're flexible because we know you have classes, a semblance of social life, and probably a Netflix queue that won't watch itself.
• Compensation: $15 per hour. That's right, real money for real work! Enough to upgrade from ramen to... We would like to hear about your ramen adventures some day.
