As an Entry-Level Facilities Technician, you'll be part of a team responsible for maintaining and improving our building's functionality, appearance, and safety. We value a positive attitude and willingness to learn over extensive experience.Your day-to-day tasks will include:
Assisting with basic building repairs and maintenance tasks
Helping with painting interior and exterior surfaces
Performing simple plumbing tasks, such as unclogging drains
Changing light bulbs and assisting with basic electrical work under supervision
Moving furniture and equipment as needed
Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
Learning to use various tools and equipment safely
Assisting experienced technicians with more complex tasks
Responding to and completing work orders in a timely manner
Desired experience and technical skills -Required:
High school diploma or equivalent
Positive attitude and eagerness to learn
Good communication skills
Ability to work well in a team
Basic computer skills
Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and use ladders safely
Willingness to follow safety procedures and wear protective equipment
Reliability and punctuality
Customer service orientation
Preferred:
Some experience or interest in building maintenance, construction, or related fields
Familiarity with hand and power tools
Basic understanding of building systems (plumbing, electrical, HVAC)
