Expert WooCommerce Developer for Custom Checkout, Pricing Logic, and Wholesale Portal
I am looking for an experienced WooCommerce Developer to handle a series of technical site optimizations and functional upgrades for a WordPress-based e-commerce store.
The goal is to streamline the user interface, customize the checkout flow, and implement a dedicated wholesale system. We are looking for a developer who prioritizes clean, update-proof code over simply adding multiple heavy plugins.
Key Deliverables:
1. Checkout & Cart Logic
One-Page Checkout: Build out shipping/billing fields into a single-page entry.
UI Customization: Move the "Coupon Code" entry to the left side, positioned specifically above the shipping information with correct alignment.
Header Update: Ensure the cart icon displays the total number of items in the top right.
Cleanup: Remove the "Update Cart" button and the "Clear" selection button on product pages.
2. Pricing & Shipping Customization
Collection Page Logic: Display only the lowest single price per product on the main collection view (not a price range).
Variant Pricing: Ensure the price on product pages only updates when a specific variant is clicked.
Shipping Rules: Remove all "Free Shipping" options; set up custom flat rates for Standard and 2-Day Shipping only.
3. Wholesale & Product Features
Wholesale Portal: Set up a dedicated, password-protected Wholesale Portal and add a wholesale-specific contact field to the Contact Page.
Product Tabs: Add three specific tabs (Includes, Applications, Ceramic vs. Aluminum) to all product pages.
Media Integration: Integrate an infographic and a tutorial video into the actual product image carousel for each listing.
4. UI/UX Cleanup
Remove stock inventory visibility, tags, and categories from product pages and the footer.
Perform a global text change: Change "Regular" to "Firm" across all product pages.
Requirements:
Experience: Proven track record with WooCommerce PHP hooks, filters, and template overrides.
Stability: All work must be completed on a staging site first.
Architecture: Changes must be update-proof (implemented via a Child Theme or Code Snippets plugin).
Communication: Ability to provide brief daily updates on progress.
