Expert Network & Business Research Consultant
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and socially savvy Expert Network & Business Research Consultant to join our team.
While we welcome candidates who are subject matter experts in their own right, the core of this role focuses on serving as a strategic "connector" and lead researcher. Your primary mission is to build a high-value expert network through professional engagement and to synthesize complex consultations into critical strategic insights. This is a versatile role that combines talent acquisition, market research, and strategic networking across various industries.
Target Regions:
β’ Primary: United States (Native/Local preferred)
β’ Secondary: Canada, Mexico
Key Responsibilities :
β’ Expert Sourcing & Recruitment: Proactively identify and engage with industry leaders and specialists. You will manage company accounts to post openings, vet candidates, and expand our consultant pool.
β’ Qualitative Research & Interviewing: Conduct professional interviews and consultations to gather strategic insights and market knowledge.
β’ Business Development & Outreach: Act as a primary liaison to develop new business leads and coordinate outreach tasks, utilizing your networking skills to "open doors."
β’ Project Coordination: Organize and lead small teams to complete research assignments, field investigations, and business expansion projects.
β’ Performance Management: Implement and manage performance evaluations for the project team to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Qualifications :
β’ Experience: Proven track record of working independently on complex projects. Experience in HR, Project Management, or Consulting is highly preferred.
β’ Education: Bachelorβs degree in Journalism, Sociology, Marketing, Psychology, MBA, or a related field.
β’ Networking Skills: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse groups across various industries.
β’ Mindset: A "hunter" mentality with high responsibility and the ability to perform under pressure.
β’ Resourcefulness: Ability to leverage existing networks and tools to complete challenging research or outreach tasks.
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary, Contract, Internship
Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 β 16 per week
