Key Responsibilities Deliver highly effective daily lessons tailored to student needs, grounded in research-based instructional practices. Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of all students, ensuring each one achieves their full potential. Create a joyful, caring, and loving virtual classroom environment that fosters academic excellence and social-emotional growth. Integrate culturally responsive teaching practices into daily lessons and interactions with students, parents, and colleagues. Communicate regularly with families regarding their child's academic and social-emotional progress. Incorporate 21st-century technology skills into daily classroom practice and team settings. Participate in the planning and implementation of non-instructional activities, such as social events and field trips. Collaborate and communicate effectively with colleagues, maintaining a culture of humility, respect, and continuous improvement. Relentlessly work towards meeting all goals related to student achievement, culture, and Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) goals. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you will need: A current state teaching license in an appropriate content area. Knowledge of State Standards and Common Core Standards. A high level of comfort working in a growth-focused coaching environment that includes frequent observations, debriefs, action planning, and progress monitoring. High-quality written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Word and Outlook. The ability to manage confidential information properly. The ability to pass federal and state criminal background checks. Ohio residence is required for this position. Preferred Qualifications At least two years of teaching experience. Experience working in a multi-cultural setting. A background in working with students who may require additional support, such as those in Title I programs.
