Key Responsibilities
As an External Support Engineer at arenaflex, you will be responsible for providing technical support to content and external teams, creating reference materials and training programs, and solving complex issues with tools and workflows. Your key responsibilities will include:

Providing technical support to content and external teams in regards to the use of content tools, ensuring timely resolution of issues and excellent customer satisfaction
Creating comprehensive reference materials and delivering training programs to get external teams up to speed with the toolset, promoting efficiency and productivity
Solving and debugging possible issues with tools and workflows, quickly resolving issues for users and minimizing downtime
Escalating more complex or problematic issues to the tool development team, collaborating with production to track these issues in JIRA and ensure prompt resolution
Advocating for tools, workflow improvements, and suggestions from external teams, driving innovation and continuous improvement
Partnering with other engineers to develop tools and processes that improve efficiency and quality, contributing to the development of best-in-class solutions
Guiding or leading cross-disciplinary dialogs to drive features from initial concept to completion, fostering collaboration and creativity
Exemplifying reliability, accountability, and professionalism in all work-related interactions, upholding the highest standards of excellence and integrity


Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a combination of technical, business, and interpersonal skills. Essential qualifications include:

A degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience, demonstrating a strong foundation in software development and technology
Experience supporting a live service or tool environment, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional technical support and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
Unity 3D game and tool development experience, with a strong understanding of game development principles and practices
Experience with Jira, Confluence, or other defect tracking software, with the ability to effectively track and manage issues
iOS and Android mobile development experience, with a strong understanding of mobile development principles and practices
5 years' experience in delivering production-level code in a professional environment, with a proven track record of developing high-quality software solutions
