Experienced Student Recruitment Support Specialist - Family Outreach and Data Entry at careerzynith

As a part-time Student Recruitment Support Specialist, you'll play a vital role in generating new applications for our East Harlem, Mott Haven, and Highbridge campuses. Reporting to the Director of Student Recruitment, you'll execute weekly assignments as part of our recruitment strategy, working closely with our team to ensure the success of our students, families, and community.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Execute weekly assignments as part of the recruitment strategy, including:
+ Making phone calls to prospective families to discuss our programs and answer questions
+ Entering data accurately and in a timely manner using our database systems
+ Assisting with data entry and organization to ensure timely completion of tasks
+ Learning and accurately using databases, including SchoolMint (preferred)
* Provide exceptional customer service to prospective families, serving as a positive ambassador for careerzynith
* Develop and maintain relationships with families, schools, and community organizations to promote our programs and services
* Collaborate with the Student Recruitment team to achieve recruitment goals and objectives
* Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
**Essential Qualifications:**
* High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred
* Proficient in spoken Spanish (preferred)
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with diverse groups
* Strong customer service orientation and ability to work with families from diverse backgrounds
* Effective time management and ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
* Ability to keep information organized and accurate, with a focus on data entry and database management
* Familiarity with database systems, including SchoolMint (preferred)
* Strong belief in the mission and values of careerzynith, including the belief that all students can succeed
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Experience in education, non-profit, or customer service field
* Familiarity with careerzynith's programs and services
* Ability to work some weekends and evenings, primarily between 5-8pm
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
