Route questionable prescriptions to the pharmacist for completion
Make outbound calls/faxing physicians for prescription clarification, substitutions, and formulary changes
Work in a high-production environment, multitasking between patient referrals while maintaining excellent customer service
Maintain accurate records and ensure seamless prescription processing
Collaborate with the Specialty Mail Order team to deliver exceptional patient care and support
Qualifications and Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following requirements:
Essential Qualifications
1+ years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician
Pharmacy Tech Certified in the state of GA
Verifiable High School diploma, GED or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
Specialty pharmacy experience
Call center experience
Prescription adjudication experience in order to communicate with prescribers regarding case status and assess prescription claim issues
