Job Overview In this critical role, you will be responsible for leading production support activities for a group of data analysis products used to support internal bank operations. You will work closely with various technology groups to investigate platform and data quality issues, remediate problems before they impact products and services, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Your expertise will be essential in analyzing complex technical tasks, identifying and resolving production incidents, and developing new processes and stage enhancements. Key Responsibilities Lead production support activities for a group of data analysis products, ensuring seamless operations and high-quality results. Act as a key member in the identification and resolution of production incidents affecting the client data analysis platform. Analyze complex technical tasks within a big data environment, requiring in-depth assessment and expertise. Conduct research and create reports related to ongoing production challenges, presenting findings to internal stakeholders. Lead the development of new project processes and stage enhancements, driving innovation and efficiency. Serve as the primary contact with the inland team, ensuring effective communication and reporting of delivery from the offshore group. Champion continuous improvement, including the development of new strategies and opportunities. Contribute to the establishment of performance standards for the team, ensuring operations meet or exceed performance metrics. Direct the daily Risk and Control stream of operations, focusing on solutions, methodology, and work guidelines to ensure a successful outcome. Lead teams to meet deadlines and drive new initiatives, collaborating with employees to resolve drives and achieve technology mandates. Review, approve, and implement recommended changes to plans, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline. You should have at least 2+ years of investigation experience, or equivalent, demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military experience, or education. Preferred Qualifications In addition to the essential qualifications, the following skills and experiences are highly desirable: 2+ years of experience supporting large data environments. 2+ years of experience delivering ETL, data warehouse, and data analysis capabilities on big data architectures like Hadoop. 2+ years of experience using a combination of tools, including HIVE, Panda, Autosys, Grafana, and Splunk. Prior experience supporting Kafka and MongoDB.
