Job Overview We are seeking an exceptional Senior Director, Global Head of Adversarial Abuse and Analytics to join our team at arenaflex. As a seasoned leader, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of adversarial abuse, including account takeovers, spam, engagement abuse, and more. Your expertise in data analysis, risk management, and strategic decision-making will be crucial in driving our efforts to prevent malicious activities and ensure a safe and secure environment for our users. Key Responsibilities Lead the Adversarial Abuse team in identifying and mitigating threats from malicious actors, including account takeovers, spam, and engagement abuse Develop and implement effective strategies to prevent adversarial abuse, using data-driven insights and collaboration with cross-functional teams Partner with the Policy Development team to create policies that describe harmful behavior, using account, social, and content signals Deliver high-quality and efficient operational performance, with a focus on quality, service levels, and talent development Manage accelerations with tight timelines, providing data-driven insights and implementing solutions while building relationships with key cross-functional partners Collaborate with the Engineering team to improve detection and tooling, and with the Global Merchant Operations team to manage scaled enforcement Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., mathematics, engineering, computer science) At least 2 years of experience in risk management, fraud fighting at scale, and building/deploying analytical models At least 2 years of experience working with engineering teams that shape data infrastructure and ML models At least 2 years of experience leading teams with the ability to work non-standard hours as accelerations require Preferred Qualifications Postgraduate education in a related field (e.g., mathematics, engineering, computer science) At least 2 years of experience in analysis of large datasets and anomaly detection Experience or demonstrated interest in anti-abuse activities Knowledge of SQL, R, or Matlab Excellent influencing and leadership skills, with the ability to build relationships with cross-functional partners Strong business judgment, strategic and analytical skills, including using data to drive strategy and business action Career Growth and Development At arenaflex, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
