Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Science Consultant to join our team at blithequark. As a Senior Data Science Consultant, you will be responsible for driving moderate to highly complex data science, AI, machine learning, or optimization projects, collaborating with clients and stakeholders to understand context-oriented issues, and defining, analyzing, and delivering products based on business objectives. You will serve as a client relationship lead on data science, AI, machine learning, or optimization projects, working closely with cross-functional leaders across various and simultaneous projects. Key Responsibilities Drive moderate to highly complex data science, AI, machine learning, or optimization projects, working with clients and stakeholders to understand context-oriented issues and define, analyze, and deliver products based on business objectives Serve as a client relationship lead on data science, AI, machine learning, or optimization projects, collaborating with cross-functional leaders across various and simultaneous projects Lead conversations with stakeholders from diverse backgrounds to gather business needs for data science, AI, machine learning, or optimization solutions Act as a subject matter expert on data science, AI, machine learning, or optimization delivery methodologies Drive the development of executive-level communication (e.g., project statements, presentations, etc.) and blend critical amounts of detailed data to summarize significant information for the appropriate stakeholder Create and deliver results and decisions for moderate to highly complex projects to clients Analyze market landscape and implement best practices to support internal client needs Drive the ongoing development of blithequark's data science focus and community Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Statistics, or Mathematics. You should have advanced knowledge in both inductive and deductive reasoning and problem-solving approaches, as well as experience in evaluating scientific methods to propose the fitting start-to-finish product guide for business issues. Preferred Qualifications Advanced knowledge in using value definition frameworks and techniques to estimate, scope, and prioritize different data science, AI, machine learning, or optimization initiatives Skilled in using enterprise technical tools to create and deliver messaging of complex technical projects to appropriate stakeholders Proficient in using project management tools to define the product guide and project plan used to ensure the project has the resources expected to complete jobs on time Able to build trust with all levels of employees, including cross-functional leaders, and should be able to properly manage highly sensitive and confidential information Able to lead highly complex data science, AI, machine learning, or optimization projects, including acting as a leader in business partner groups, solution definition and planning, detailed task and deliverable definition and creation, and project plan creation Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead project teams through various situations and changing approaches/policies if necessary to actually and effectively meet targets. You should be able to lead communication in a connecting way, with strong verbal and written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences, up to and including cross-functional senior leaders.
