Experienced Remote Therapist for Teen Support - Full-Time Work from Home Opportunity in Mental Health Care

About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced therapist to join our team as a Remote Therapist for Teen Support. This is a full-time role that requires a strong and diverse skillset in areas such as mental health assessments, short-term teletherapy, and evidence-based modalities. As a Remote Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work directly with school staff, students, and families to build collaborative, trusted, and lasting relationships and develop strategies to improve school services. Key Responsibilities Provide excellent care, including mental health assessments and short-term teletherapy (typically 2-4 months per student with possible extension up to 6 months), to middle and high school students Participate in case discussions with other team members to ensure comprehensive care and support Support students and families with transition to community mental health and primary care providers Build collaborative, trusted, and lasting relationships with school leadership, staff, students, and families Meet regularly with school staff to discuss student mental health needs and develop strategies to improve school services Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following essential qualifications: Licensed in MA (LICSW, LCSW, LMHC, LMFT) Experience working with youth or teens Experience with evidence-based modalities (CBT, DBT, MI, ACT) Availability in afternoons and evenings Experience providing telehealth therapy Preferred qualifications include: Experience working in a school setting or with school-aged children Knowledge of trauma-informed care and culturally responsive practices Experience with electronic health records and telehealth platforms Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills : Ability to build strong relationships with students, families, and school staff Cultural competence : Ability to work with diverse populations and provide culturally responsive care Emotional intelligence : Ability to manage your own emotions and respond to the emotional needs of students and families Technical skills : Ability to use electronic health records and telehealth platforms Time management and organization : Ability to manage your time effectively and prioritize tasks Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At our organization, we are committed to supporting the professional growth and development of our team members.
