Senior DevOps Engineer
Gorilla Logic is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer, who will work with a team of developers and engineers building infrastructure and CI/CD pipeline. Responsibilities
ā¢ Design, implement, and manage DevOps processes and tools on Google Cloud Platform.
ā¢ Set up and configure GCP services for continuous integration, continuous delivery, and automation.
ā¢ Manage source code repositories using Git, and implement branching and merging strategies.
ā¢ Ensure code versioning best practices are followed.
ā¢ Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GCP tools such as Cloud Build.
ā¢ Implement and optimize deployment strategies for applications on GCP.
ā¢ Implement and manage infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform or Google Cloud Deployment Manager.
ā¢ Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration.
ā¢ Implement containerization using Docker.
ā¢ Orchestrate containers using Kubernetes on GCP.
ā¢ Set up monitoring and logging solutions using GCP Stackdriver or similar tools.
ā¢ Monitor and troubleshoot issues proactively.
ā¢ Collaborate with development, testing, and operations teams to ensure a seamless integration and delivery process.
ā¢ Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
ā¢ Implement and enforce security best practices in the DevOps pipeline.
ā¢ Ensure compliance with relevant security standards and regulations.
Technical Requirements
ā¢ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
ā¢ 5 Years of experience as a DevOps Engineer with a focus on Google Cloud Platform.
ā¢ Strong proficiency in GCP services and tools.
ā¢ Experience with CI/CD tools, such as Cloud Build, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.
ā¢ Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash) and automation.
ā¢ Knowledge of infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or Google Cloud Deployment Manager.
ā¢ Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
ā¢ Familiarity with networking, security, and cloud best practices.
ā¢ Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
ā¢ Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Bonus Skills
ā¢ Cloud certifications and/or cloud native infrastructure experience
ā¢ Experience building and managing applications with package/project managers like Maven/Gradle, Pip, NPM, Yarn
ā¢ Experience with technologies like Jenkins, Gitlab CI, GitHub Actions or Circle CI
ā¢ Experience with networking storage and release management
ā¢ Linux foundation certificates * HashiCorp certifications
