Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and charismatic Franchised Front Desk Agent to join our team at the Luminary Hotel & Co. in Fort Myers, FL. As a Front Desk Host, you will be responsible for providing a warm and personalized welcome to our guests, ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out experience, and offering exceptional customer service throughout their stay. Key Responsibilities
β€’ Provide exceptional customer service and personalized experiences for our guests, using their names and preferences to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere
β€’ Process mobile arrivals and execute flawless service in remote check-in areas, according to property, company, and brand guidelines
β€’ Actively engage guests in our hotel loyalty program, promoting new enrollments and encouraging repeat business
β€’ Collect and verify methods of payment, produce room keys, and ensure guest confidentiality throughout their stay and beyond
β€’ Assign and escort guests to their rooms, taking note of their preferences and nonverbal cues to create memorable experiences
β€’ Assist and resolve guest billing inquiries and concerns, using empowerment guidelines to provide timely and effective solutions
β€’ Utilize our Empower guest experience tool to reference, maintain, and add guest requests, preferences, and communication details, ensuring seamless communication and personalized service
β€’ Execute all required front office reports, pre-arrival planning, and checklists, as outlined by leadership, to ensure efficient and effective operations
β€’ Serve as a concierge, providing local information and recommendations for shopping, dining, and recreational destinations, and assisting guests with reservations and tours
β€’ Assist with guest luggage, receiving, storing, and delivering both luggage and mail, and responding to guest inquiries and opportunities in a timely and professional manner

Essential Qualifications
β€’ High School diploma or higher, with previous hospitality experience preferred
β€’ Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to interact with guests and provide personalized experiences
β€’ Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to speak clearly and professionally
β€’ Ability to work independently, take direction, and provide direction to others, with a strong focus on teamwork and collaboration
β€’ Previous experience with Lightspeed PMS preferred, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems and technologies

Preferred Qualifications
β€’ Previous experience in a luxury hotel environment, with a strong understanding of hospitality standards and practices
β€’ Knowledge of local attractions, restaurants, and recreational activities, with the ability to provide recommendations and insider tips to guests
β€’ Ability to work effectively in stressful, high-pressure situations, with a calm and professional demeanor
β€’ Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate, prevent, identify, and solve problems as necessary
