About the Position This is a full remote position, offering the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home. As a Data Entry Operator at blithequark, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our data. Your primary responsibilities will include preparing, compiling, and sorting documents for data entry, checking source documents for accuracy, verifying data, and correcting errors as necessary. You will also be responsible for obtaining additional information for incomplete documents, updating data, and deleting unnecessary files. Your strong attention to detail and organizational skills will be essential in combining and reordering source document data, entering data into prescribed databases, and transcribing information into the required electronic format. Key Responsibilities: Prepare, compile, and sort documents for data entry and customs purposes Check source documents for accuracy and verify data to ensure integrity Correct errors and obtain additional information for incomplete documents Update data, delete unnecessary files, and combine and reorder source document data as necessary Enter data from source documents into prescribed databases, files, and computer forms Transcribe information into the required electronic format and scan documents into document management systems or databases Check the accuracy of work performed and store completed documents in designated locations Respond to requests for information and access relevant files as needed Print information when required and perform other duties as assigned by the team leader or billing supervisor Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you must possess a strong command of English, both written and oral, and have the ability to write quickly and accurately with few spelling mistakes and errors. You should also have excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to stay focused and concentrate on tasks. A working knowledge of basic office equipment, computer hardware, email, and telephone communication is also essential. Additionally, you should be able to communicate effectively with others, have a positive attitude, and be willing to work in a team environment and take direction from others.
