As a Data Entry Associate, you will play a critical role in processing incoming healthcare claim forms, ensuring accuracy, and meeting productivity standards. Key Responsibilities Capture and validate complex data with high accuracy Classify and index images, pre-adjudicate documents, and correct data as required Verify data from automated data extraction tools and utilize various systems to complete assigned tasks Work with multiple source documents to verify data and use additional information to complete assignments Adhere to established procedures and practices, working under close supervision to meet productivity and accuracy standards Requirements To be successful in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications: Ability to type at least 45+ words per minute (WPM) with high accuracy and 10-key by touch proficiency Proficient computer skills, including MS Office and internet research Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines while maintaining a high accuracy rate Maintain or exceed 4,000 keystrokes per hour (KSPH) for numeric and 2,500 KSPH for alpha/numeric data with less than 1% error rate Basic knowledge of medical claims form processing (preferred) Experience working through VPN connections High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required Must be at least 18 years of age or older and eligible to work in the United States Must be able to clear any necessary criminal background checks or drug screenings Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Previous experience in data entry, preferably in a healthcare or medical claims processing environment Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you must possess the following skills and competencies: Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment Excellent organizational and time management skills Ability to work under pressure and meet productivity standards Strong technical skills, including proficiency in MS Office and ability to learn new systems Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we are committed to the growth and development of our associates.
