**Key Responsibilities**
As a Remote Customer Service Specialist, you'll be responsible for:
* Answering and handling calls from customers regarding their delinquent auto finance accounts, utilizing appropriate compliance and security measures to identify customers and protect against fraud
* Actively listening to customers and asking questions to determine their needs, ensuring proper routing of calls and/or presentation of solutions to their inquiries
* Collecting on assigned delinquent accounts in a timely and effective manner, within established guidelines
* Documenting all communications and transactions of material manner with customers
* Protecting the confidentiality of all aspects of careerzynith's operations, portfolio, customer information, and computer technology
* Working knowledge of state and federal laws applicable to collections, including FDCPA, TCPA, and Rees-Levering among others
* Actively participating in team meetings to improve workflows, collection processes, and department efficiencies
**Additional Responsibilities**
* Working effectively in a high-pressure, high-volume environment
* Displaying professionalism and empathy when interacting with customers
* Handling customer questions with a goal of resolving all issues within the first contact/call
* Demonstrating strong verbal and written communication skills
* Referencing available services to meet customers' needs
* Excellent computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Suite products
* Contributing to department projects as assigned
* Other related duties as business needs arise
**Essential Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* 1-2 years of experience in a customer service or collections environment
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
* Proficiency with Microsoft Suite products
* Working knowledge of state and federal laws applicable to collections
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive customer information
**Preferred Qualifications**
* 2+ years of experience in a customer service or collections environment
* Experience working with delinquent auto finance accounts
* Certification in collections or customer service
* Experience with CRM software and other customer service tools
* Strong knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements
