**Job Summary**

As a Remote Customer Service Representative at careerzynith, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional patient service, collecting payments, and resolving disputes in a virtual environment. You'll work closely with our team leads, management, and clients to ensure patient satisfaction and meet or exceed established goals. **Key Responsibilities**

• Provide exceptional patient service in the name of our clients, ensuring a positive experience and high levels of satisfaction
• Contact patients via telephone to collect payment on medical bills, using a clear and professional approach
• Communicate accurate information to patients in a concise and empathetic manner, addressing their concerns and questions
• Review patient accounts and documents patients' interaction and feedback, using this information to improve our services
• Negotiate appropriate and reasonable payments with customers, taking into account their financial situations and needs
• Set up patient payments via check, electronic transfer, or credit card, ensuring secure and efficient transactions
• Stay up-to-date with all policies and procedures, adhering to confidentiality and integrity standards
• Meet or exceed established goals, working closely with our team to achieve exceptional results
• Collaborate with team leads, management, and clients to resolve disputes and ensure patient satisfaction
• Perform other duties as assigned by management, contributing to the growth and success of our team

**Essential Qualifications**

• Customer service experience, preferably in a medical billing or healthcare revenue cycle setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and clients
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in software applications and technology platforms
• High school diploma or General Education Development (GED) Certificate, with one to two years of college preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced virtual environment, using technology to stay organized and productive

**Preferred Qualifications**

• Prior experience in medical billing or healthcare revenue cycle management
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve complex issues
• Experience working with electronic health records (EHRs) and other healthcare software systems
• Certification in medical billing or a related field, such as Certified Medical Reimbursement Specialist (CMRS) or Certified Professional Coder (CPC)
