Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Remote Customer Service Representative to join our team at arenaflex. As a Member Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional telephone assistance to Medicaid members and providers. Your primary goal will be to deliver an outstanding experience to our callers, addressing their inquiries and concerns in a professional and empathetic manner. This is a remote position, and you must live within 50 miles of Richmond, VA, to be considered for this role.

Key Responsibilities

Answering incoming member and provider calls and responding to inquiries regarding benefits, eligibility, services, prior authorization requirements, extra benefits, and programs
Providing accurate and timely information to resolve caller inquiries and concerns
Utilizing strong customer service skills to de-escalate conflicts and turn negative experiences into positive outcomes
Meeting performance standards, attendance requirements, and call quality goals
Working from home and demonstrating self-sufficiency in a remote environment
Participating in training sessions and ongoing education to stay up-to-date on policies, procedures, and industry developments


Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to communicate effectively with members and providers orally and in written form
Strong customer service skills and a passion for delivering exceptional support
Ability to work from home and prove self-sufficiency in a remote environment
Reliable high-speed internet connectivity with secure service via ethernet cable (Wi-Fi is not permitted)
Ability to commute to the office in Richmond, VA, when unable to work from home due to prolonged technical problems


Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

Experience working remotely in a call center setting
Familiarity with Medicaid and Medicare
Previous experience in customer service or a related field
