About the Role We're on the hunt for a full-time Customer Service Representative to work remotely from the comfort of their own home in Texas. As a key member of our team, you'll be the voice of blithequark, engaging with our customers, resolving issues, and providing top-notch support. If you're a self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills and a love for pets, we'd love to have you on board. Our starting wage is $15.50 per hour, with plenty of opportunities to learn, grow, and develop your skills while working from home. Key Responsibilities Engage directly with customers via phone, email, or chat to resolve issues, answer questions, and provide product recommendations Research and problem-solve to determine appropriate solutions for customers, thinking proactively and setting follow-ups as needed to ensure contact resolution Operate with empathy, kindness, and understanding, utilizing active listening skills to provide exceptional customer experiences Collaborate with teammates, managers, and other stakeholders using virtual collaboration tools such as Zoom, Slack, and webcams to contribute to a customer-centric culture Maintain a willingness to learn, sharing feedback and operating in a culture of open-mindedness and growth Essential Qualifications 2+ years of customer service experience, preferably in a remote or call center environment Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and listening), with the ability to demonstrate these skills in a written assessment Ability to multi-task, navigate computer systems, and perform well in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in using computers, including data entry, rapid navigation, and internet research High school diploma or equivalent, with a strong focus on adaptability, flexibility, and confidentiality Must be able to pass a background check and meet our technical requirements (see below) Preferred Qualifications Prior experience working in a pet-related industry or with pets Experience with customer service software, CRM systems, or other relevant technologies Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects Technical Requirements A dedicated workspace that is quiet, private, and free from distractions, with a reliable wired, high-speed internet connection (30 Mbps+ download speed/ 10Mbps+ upload speed) A computer, monitor, keyboard, mouse, headset, and webcam (provided by blithequark) A cell phone or tablet for two-factor authentication through Okta Verify Ability to test and meet our internet speed requirements (speedtest.net or by contacting your service provider) Why Join blithequark?
