Roles and Responsibilities As a Remote Customer Experience Specialist and Full Stack Web Developer at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including: Developing Proof-of-Concept and MVP (Minimum Viable Product) tasks to validate new architectures and answers Contributing to the development of front-end and back-end technology and cloud infrastructures, and actively participating in code reviews Analyzing customer needs to derive software design and performance requirements Debugging existing software and correcting defects Providing guidelines for improving documentation and software development process standards Designing and coding new software programs or modifying existing software programs to add new features Writing code that meets specifications, developing software packages and tools, and completing programming and testing and debugging packages Utilizing Agile development methodologies to develop software packages and tools Designing, developing, and maintaining web applications on AWS, implementing scalable and fault-tolerant architectures, and utilizing AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, and CloudFront to build and deploy web applications Collaborating with the development team to ensure that all applications are optimized for performance and scalability Troubleshooting and debugging web applications and infrastructure issues Staying up-to-date with the latest developments in AWS and web development technologies Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need: Strong experience with web development and web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and web frameworks such as Ruby on Rails, Node.js, or Django A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field Experience with AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, and CloudFront Knowledge of containerization and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and cloud-based infrastructure Understanding of database systems and SQL Experience with Linux/Unix operating systems Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to work in a fast-moving and agile environment High school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency Minimum 18 years of age and authorization to work in the United States Preferred Qualifications To give you a competitive edge, we're looking for: Airline industry knowledge or experience operating in an airline technology environment Experience with agile development and continuous releases Highly motivated and eager to work in a fast-moving organization Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field Experience with AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, and CloudFront Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we're committed to helping you achieve your long-term professional goals.
