**Key Responsibilities**
As a Quality Engineer - Technical Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for:
* Involving substantial travel to careerzynith customers in support of the Quality Assurance function, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
* Providing expert support to customers in consultation with the head of Quality Assurance regarding raw and finished parts, prototypes, and serial parts.
* Supporting complex trials and new product runs at customers, including documentation of results and presentation of initial sample parts.
* Documenting results and ensuring a smooth and timely exchange of information between careerzynith and customers based on customer requirements.
* Performing analysis of quality concerns utilizing disciplined problem-solving techniques to identify true root causes.
* Initiating and monitoring corrective actions in cooperation with Quality Assurance.
* Coordinating/overseeing third-party activities as appropriate (i.e., sorting and rework activities).
* Collaborating and leading projects in accordance with applicable careerzynith guidelines.
* Serving as the Voice of the Customer to careerzynith operations, ensuring exceptional customer quality satisfaction and meeting all deadlines with accurate and thorough communication.
* Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to drive process excellence and customer satisfaction.
* Organizing, planning, conducting, and documenting worker-training courses according to customer requirements.
* Compiling monthly statistics regarding customer complaints, scrap, and rework.
**Essential Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field of experience.
* 5 years of Quality Assurance experience, preferably in the automotive manufacturing industry.
* Strong organizational skills, excellent oral and written communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in MS Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
* Detail-oriented with strong analytical/problem-solving skills.
* Fluency in German and/or Spanish is a plus.
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience with iron castings and machining processes.
* Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (75% of the time).
* Currently located in the Great Lakes Region, but willing to relocate.
**Physical Requirements**
* Normal duties will include periods of sitting, standing, walking, and some reaching and lifting.
* Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distant vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
