As a QM Nurse Consultant, you will play a critical role in our organization by conducting clinical record reviews, abstracting data, and entering information into our systems. Key Responsibilities Conduct clinical record reviews to gather data for HEDIS supplemental information processes Abstract and enter data into our systems, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail Collaborate with health plan HEDIS project managers and other departments to achieve shared goals and improve member outcomes Access and extract clinical record information from various EMR systems, using technology to facilitate remote work Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with providers, vendors, and internal stakeholders Meet productivity and quality standards, working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines Essential Qualifications Active and unrestricted Arizona or compact state RN license 3+ years of clinical experience, with a strong background in nursing and clinical record review 3+ years of experience reading and interpreting clinical records, including handwritten documents 3+ years of experience recording electronically, using keyboard and multiple computer screens, and navigating internal/external computer systems and MS Office Suite applications Proficient in Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, and Windows 10 Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote environment Preferred Qualifications Clinical record review and HEDIS experience, with a strong understanding of NCQA HEDIS and STARS measures Experience working with electronic medical records (EMRs) and other healthcare technology systems Bachelor's degree in Nursing or a related field, with a strong educational foundation in healthcare and clinical practice Career Growth and Development Opportunities At Aetna, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
