Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician to join our team in a work-from-home opportunity with Aetna Jobs Students Phoenix $25/Hour. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting our patients and clients by accurately processing prescriptions, communicating with healthcare providers and insurance companies, and providing exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities Accurately read, interpret, and enter prescriptions into the computer system, including calculating dosages and preparing medication orders. Communicate with healthcare providers and insurance companies to verify prescription information and resolve any discrepancies. Process and manage new patient medication orders and reorders, including checking and re-verifying benefits. Provide exceptional customer service to patients and clients, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner. Work collaboratively with the pharmacy team to ensure seamless operations and high-quality patient care. Essential Qualifications Idaho Pharmacy Technician License (or verification of application prior to start date). Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification or equivalent required within one year of hire. At least six months of experience working in a pharmacy setting. At least six months of experience working with Windows-based applications, including Windows, Microsoft Office, web navigation, and email applications. Proficiency in typing and computer skills, with the ability to sit or stand for extended periods (8-10 hours). Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a healthcare or insurance setting. Pharmacy Technician certification or higher. Experience with prescription processing and medication management systems. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies.
