Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pharmacy Technician to join our team as a Front End Pharmacy Technician. As a Pharmacy Technician at arenaflex, you will perform order entry tasks, collaborate with other team members in the medication dispensing process, and provide exceptional customer service.
A Day in the Life
As a Front End Pharmacy Technician, your day will be filled with a variety of tasks and responsibilities, including:
Performing order entry tasks with accuracy and efficiency
Collaborating with pharmacists and other team members to ensure the medication dispensing process runs smoothly
Triaging customer service requests by department, urgency, and information/response required
Calculating and/or verifying correct dosage based on prescriptions
Assisting in reviewing narcotic prescriptions to ensure timely processing
Providing dispensing pharmacists with critical information regarding allergies, drug interactions, therapeutic duplications, and other items flagged by the computer
Creating and maintaining accurate customer records

Required Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Certification, licensure, or registration as a pharmacy technician, or as required by state law
One (1) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician or working in a call center
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following skills and experiences are preferred:
Prior experience in the long-term care industry
PTCB National Certification
Verifiable High School Diploma or GED
