**Key Responsibilities**
* Perform order entry tasks and collaborate with pharmacists to ensure accuracy and efficiency in the medication dispensing process
* Provide best-in-class customer service by responding to customer inquiries, resolving issues, and escalating concerns to the appropriate team members
* Triage customer service requests by department, urgency, and information/response required
* Calculate and/or verify correct dosage based on prescriptions
* Assist in reviewing narcotic Rx's and ensuring timely completion
* Provide dispensing pharmacists with information regarding allergies and drug interactions, therapeutic duplications, and other items that the computer flags
* Create and maintain accurate customer records

**Essential Qualifications**
* Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician or as required by state law
* One (1) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician or working in a call center
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills

* Proficiency in computer software applications, including Microsoft Office and pharmacy management systems
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Prior experience in the long-term care industry
* PTCB National Certification
* Education: Verifiable High School Diploma or GED
