About the Role
As a Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Apprentice at arenaflex, you will be responsible for assisting our pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, including the use of pharmacy systems to retrieve patient and drug information, processing prescriptions, and maintaining accurate records. You will also be expected to provide exceptional customer service, engage with patients, and resolve any issues or concerns they may have. Our pharmacy technicians are the backbone of our operations, and we are committed to providing them with the tools, training, and support needed to succeed in their careers.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, including the use of pharmacy systems to retrieve patient and drug information
Process prescriptions, including filling, labeling, and verifying medication
Maintain accurate records, including patient information and prescription data
Provide exceptional customer service, engaging with patients and resolving any issues or concerns
Develop strong relationships with patients, including greeting them, providing assistance, and resolving any issues
Assist with inventory management, including ordering, unpacking, and storing shipments of prescription medications
Support the pharmacy team in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient work environment
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico). You should also have a strong foundation in math, including counting, measuring, and weighing medications. Basic computer skills and knowledge of store inventory control are also essential.
Preferred Qualifications:
6 months of experience in a retail environment
Previous work experience with arenaflex
PC certification
Strong math skills, including counting, measuring, and weighing medications
