Job Overview As a Pharmacy Technician and Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you will play a vital role in our patient-centric healthcare team. You will be responsible for assisting pharmacists with the practice of pharmacy, including the use of pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information, filling prescriptions, and providing excellent customer service. You will also be involved in data entry tasks, ensuring accurate and efficient processing of patient information and prescriptions. Key Responsibilities Assist pharmacists with the practice of pharmacy, including the use of pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information Fill prescriptions by retrieving, counting, and pouring pharmaceutical tablets, verifying medication is accurate, and checking for possible interactions Provide excellent customer service, including greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues Develop strong relationships with customers and patients, including identifying needs and providing assistance Perform data entry tasks, including entering patient information and prescription data into pharmacy systems Assist with inventory management, including ordering, unpacking, checking, and storing shipments of prescription medications Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly pharmacy department, including ensuring adequate supplies and equipment Comply with all company policies and procedures, including those related to pharmacy practice, customer service, and data entry Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English. You must also have a strong foundation in math, including counting, measuring, and weighing medications. Additionally, you must have basic computer skills and be able to learn and use pharmacy systems and software. Preferred Qualifications While not required, we prefer candidates with six months of experience in a retail environment, previous work experience with arenaflex, and certification as a Pharmacy Technician. We also prefer candidates with excellent math skills, computer skills, and knowledge of store inventory control.
